About 2 decades ago, a group of Hong Kong paediatricians came together, started meeting and communicating regularly on managing children with rheumatic diseases. They believed these exchanges of experiences would benefit patients and professional communities. They all shared the vision of developing a local organization for paediatric rheumatology. With the overwhelming support from colleagues across the territory, the Hong Kong Society for Paediatric Rheumatology was established in April, 2012.

Over the years the Society has developed partnership with organizations from different sectors. Our members come from a diverse background, from paediatricians to allied health workers and academics.

We look forward to more exciting adventures to come in the future.
