About 2 decades ago, a group of Hong Kong paediatricians came together, started meeting and communicating regularly on managing children with rheumatic diseases. They believed these exchanges of experiences would benefit patients and professional communities. They all shared the vision of developing a local organization for paediatric rheumatology.
